Usually the noise and stiff steering on an RTV is from a bushing in the column right below your steering wheel. Originally they used a rubber bushing and have up graded it to plastic. Although the RTV1100 is not any faster than the RTV900, it does have quite a bit more grunt power. After installing the Bighorns on it, I took it to a really steep hill that the RTV900 could never climb. You can't get any run at the hill and it is extremely steep. At no time could the 900 make it up the hill..
